860 - NOBLE

LEslie Fotherington-Smythe had travelled the globe looking for his purpose in life. But now he lived in Glebe Avenue in Saltash, Cornwall in a non-descript house. Leslie had been of noble birth, but all the conventional outlets for his position had left him aimless. But now he was content to retire, spending time in his upstairs room looking out over the River Tamar, watching the tides, the boats and occasionally seeing the small train heading on its twisty route to Gunnislake.
