"WheRe is that noisy racket coming from", said Bill as he headed outside. He was surprised to see a nine foot high droid walking down the pavement. It was scary, especially as Bill had no idea what the droid would be doing next. But the droid just stopped mid stride and fell over with a great clatter. The owner rushed up to it and struggled to get it upright again. He then had to wind up the clockwork before setting it off again. Bill relaxed. It was no longer a sinister object but a mechanical curio that would never amount to much because of having to tend to it so frequently.
