1492 - BLANK

Sir LAncelot had slain the dragon, but not before his suit of armour had got very hot from the dragon's flames. Hurriedly he took off his armour. Clank went the arm protectors. Clang went the breastplate. Clatter went the leg protectors. He leapt into the cold shower and relief spread over his form. Having dressed and come into the Grand Hall, he was greeted with enthusiastic applause and presented with a blank cheque. He was gobsmacked and bowed low in thanks. Though he was unsure how he could make use of the blank cheque in the absence of high street banks.
