ShE was walking through the park after midnight. Her senses were on high alert. There was a noise behind her she didn't recognise. The adrenalin kicked in and she was off, rushing through the park to the nearest lit street rubbing up against several plants and shrubs as she went. (Meanwhile, the urban fox took off in the opposite direction scared by her alarmed flight!) It was only when she got home and her heart rate calmed down that she could begin to relax. She then realised what a good idea it had been to wear denim, otherwise she'd have scratches all over her legs.
