Although Daughter knew Mum was right, she didn't let on and clomped off back to her room. A week later she took it upon herself to have some etiquette lessons which she rather enjoyed. It took a couple of weeks or so before Mum noticed that her daughter no longer disrupted the house and was even more shocked when one evening, quite unannounced, her daughter brought her a G&T and a piece of cheesecake with a strawberry on top and cream drizzled over it.
