The traffic was dreadful. After queuing for ages, the head of the queue was very noisy as the workmen tried to free the stuck crashed car from the wall. Once passed the obstruction they could carry on on their journey. They pulled into a diner for lunch. "This will have to be a quick meal because of the delays back there. So stuff yourselves once I stump up the exorbitant price they charge here"
