TheRe is tension in the family. Egbert is a pious observer of his religion, which has demanding rituals, whilst Geraldine is more practical and down-to-earth. So it's Geraldine who has to go fishing for trout for their dinner. But she draws the line at decorating. After weeks of badgering, Geraldine finally persuades Egbert to get back to finish off the bathroom and put grout between the tiles - a job that he's been putting off for 6 months now. At last Geraldine can look forward to having a shower!
