There was a noisy crash outside as a dumpy bag fell off the hook and landed heavily on the ground, splitting open and spewing its contents over the road. Sam, the delivery driver, swore to himself - "It must have been that bumpy humpy lane that led here that shook something loose". A local, who hadn't witnessed what had just happened, called out a cheery "Howdy". Sam just growled. He was in quite a jumpy state and envisaged a lengthy process having to sort out this mess.
